John Anthony for;
He has introduced me to hidden parts of myself that I would never even suspected I had. No man has ever seen me at my worst and lowest as well as at my very best before John.
He guided me with such skill and endless commitment and love. The work we did together is truly amazing and John is relentless in helping each student exploring his innermost authentic self, just the way acting should be done.
John, I can never thank you enough!"

“John Anthony is one of the most gifted and honest teachers I know. He will not pet your ego or tell you how good you are unless he truly means it. He gives his all in every session and expects the same in
return.
I walked into John’s class in the summer of 2008, where I have grown into a better actor and more importantly a better person. « No human being, no actor! », those words of his, in my opinion, encapsulate the brilliant core of his teaching method. A technique that stresses the importance of exploring the human being that you are in all its truthfulness, strengths, shortcomings and colors. Only then can you, the actor, become a vessel for the character that you are portraying. And of course there is script analysis. Watching this man tear down a script or a play is mind blowing. It gets me every time!”
ANJELICA BOSBOOM
After beginning her work with John Anthony in early 2015, Anjelica’s acting career began to change: her callback and booking rate accelerated immediately. Thanks to John’s teachings, Anjelica was beginning to understand how to work, think, and act as an actor.
She recently booked a co-star on Pose (FX), a co-star role on Power (STARZ!), along with a large integral co-star as “Kelly” on season 2 of The Deuce (HBO), working opposite two series regulars (Dominique Fishback and Gbenga Akkinagbe), and recently made it to the director’s session for the new Warner Bros. Production of The Goldfinch starring Nicole Kidman and Ansel Elgort. Other tv/ film credits include - YOU (opposite Penn Badgley - Lifetime), The Faithful (Independent film, lead, Imperfect Films), Mysteries at the Castle (Travel Channel), and more. Over the past three years Anjelica has been seen in numerous commercials, (Spotify Premium, Tobasco, CoverGirl, YouTube, Budweiser, Stella Artois Cidre, Hinge Dating, and many more). She has also been the voice of Nature Valley Granola bars for the past year and counting (6+ national commercial VO campaigns). Other VO work includes - Sierra Mist, SafeLite Auto Glass, Moxy Hotels, Tomorrow Sleep, etc
"None of this would have been possible without the exceptional understanding of the work that John imbues to his students. Anjelica cannot even imagine where she would be if it weren’t for John Anthony; his class has given her solid tools to rely upon in order to do to the work."
MAXWELLE ZENER
On my first day working with John, he showed me that all the limits I thought I had to my work were false. John knows how to unlock creativity, free impulses, guide the work of exploring a character, and help turn actors into artists. Thanks to John's teachings I have worked on Boardwalk Empire opposite Steve Buscemi and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel opposite Jane Lynch; on independent films Power(less), Shooting Script, Jim, and The Manikin; on numerous plays Off Broadway; and on nearly 50 audiobooks. John does not teach ephemeral lightning in a bottle, but rather explicit artistic technique that - through hard work - will allow you to consistently bring spontaneous truthful life to your acting.
